Beneath the clutter of contemporary life is the reliable ground of presence
on which to stand and move with sensitivity and intuitive intelligence.

When we turn outward to explore our world with open curiosity and increasing sensitivity, we are brought into richer contact with our own capacities, our deepest nature. And if we start from the point of inner exploration, we find ourselves awakening outward to a world of wonder, a renewed landscape in which to thrive.  Sensory Awareness is a remarkably simple approach to reconnecting with the living moment. Everyday movements rather than exercises, playful explorations, quiet attentiveness rather than effort, take us to a place of renewed engagement with an ever-evolving world.

Ruth Kerr – Gestalt Psychotherapist, Sensory Awareness Leader, environmental action-ist, mom, wife, and cancer survivor. With an artful zest for life, Ruth brings a playful touch to her transformative work. She seamlessly weaves together her diverse passions, guiding fellow humans to deeper self-awareness and connection one other and the world around them. Whether she’s facilitating workshops, running her private practice, or simply spending time outside, Ruth radiates warmth and authenticity. Her journey from adversity to resilience inspires all who encounter her to embrace life’s challenges with courage and wit.

Tara Abrams – Sensory Awareness is my root system, it’s how I meet life. Some branches supported through the practice include my yoga, Eden Energy Medicine, Feldenkrais Method, conscious movement/dance practices. In turn, these branches feed and inform my Sensory Awareness experiments.

I explore the landscape with•in to connect more deeply with all that lives with•out; as above, so below. This dance enhances my aliveness and ability to respond to what the moment asks. I believe presence is currency, love is expression and Sensory Awareness is the bridge that connects.
