As someone who cares about Sensory Awareness, you know how important it is for this work to flourish and reach an ever wider audience. Indeed, it was Charlotte Selver’s dream for Sensing to enrich people’s lives far into the future.

The Sensory Awareness Foundation exists to fulfill this dream. We have come such a long way and are dedicated to preserving and expanding this work for many years ahead.

Today please consider joining the Sensory Awareness Foundation Legacy Circle. Continue supporting our work after your lifetime through one of the many options available through planned giving.

Charitable planned giving is not just for the wealthy. Most everyone has assets, modest or substantial.

All gifts, large or small are important. Whether you opt to make us a beneficiary of a small bank account, or make a large bequest to us in your will, each act of generosity is a deeply appreciated contribution to the future.

Each gift is an expression of hope and an investment in a more caring and compassionate world.

Enclosed is a Planned Giving Confirmation Form, which you can use to notify the Foundation that you are considering making, or have made, such a provision in your will or estate plan.

We thank you for your consideration and all of your past support.

“Becoming more and more able to be there in situations, whether easy or difcult; to be there with our mind, with our hearts, with our sensitivities, with our strengths – this is very, very important.”
––Charlotte Selver

Planned Giving

Offer the gift of Sensory Awareness to future generations when you include a charitable gift to the Sensory Awareness Foundation in your estate plans.

There are Two easy ways to make a planned gift:

  1. Designate SAF as a beneficiary for retirement funds, bank accounts, or life insurance.

Simply complete and sign a beneficiary form that is readily available from your financial institution.

(No lawyers needed.) You can designate SAF as a primary or contingent beneficiary for a percentage or specific amount.

  1. Include SAF in your will. Here is sample language:

“I give the sum of $ _________ (or ____ percent of my estate) to the Sensory Awareness Foundation, to be used to further its purposes as the Board of Directors in their discretion may deem appropriate.”

There are many other ways to support SAF through your estate plans, such as gifts of stock or real estate, and gifts that generate income for you during your lifetime.  We encourage you to consult your financial, tax, and/or legal advisors to learn details about various options and their tax benefits.
