Sensory awareness experiments invite you into the present moment, to come into connection with what is there to support you, with what is there to be felt, and with breath. You are guided in your own awareness by questions as pointers to your experience.
Working with simple everyday actions—taking steps, letting your arm come up into the air, carrying an object such as a stone in your hand—you will feel alive. You will distinguish your experience from your thought.
Group members will work on their own at times, and with a partner exploring simple “journeys”. They will share their experiences and discover what is theirs to express.
Sensing widens your access to support in many moments of your life. This work, which began in Germany in the mid 1800’s, invites you to let go of what is extra, and to surrender to gravity, breath and support, in order to find freedom within whatever constraints are there in your life.
This group will be an intensive introduction to Sensory Awareness and will be led by Frances Khanna, PhD., C. Psych.
