In our often chaotic and unstable world it helps when we can reconnect with the ground of our being, that core of deeper natural intelligence within that helps us regain greater balance and inner peace.
Sensory Awareness, a long respected form of somatic re-education, helps us reawaken the wisdom of our embodied nature.
In these experiential sessions we’ll focus on reviving our capacity for fuller mindful and centered presence as experienced in breathing, movement, balance, energy and more. We’ll work in a way that allows the mind to settle, sensations deepen, tensions lessen and our fuller self become more genuinely present and alive.
This self-empowering, non-dogmatic study can do much to help nurture your fuller potential. Many find it a valuable enhancement to meditation, yoga, psychotherapy, creative expression as well as to life itself.
Past participants have described these classes as being very nurturing and grounding… and yet also surprisingly fun.
Sunday mornings at Ft. Mason provide an enlivening environment in which to experience this work. With its beautiful location on the bay, farmers’ market, variety of goodies, and attractions there is much to savor.
Please join us in this new series as we explore practical ways the gift of our own senses can help enrich our daily living.
